Evolve Performance (opens in a new tab)
Apps for gyms. One for the athlete, a dashboard for the coach and a single database behind both. Live, with real people training on it.
Pincho
The screenshot tool the Mac was missing. Mark it up, pixelate, dictate, and paste it straight into Claude or Slack.
Pastor de Agentes
My AI agent shepherd. It watches them while they work, warns me when one gets stuck in a loop or burns tokens without shipping anything, and shows me the whole week at a glance.
My TV
I rebuilt my Fire TV's entire system. It's not a search box: it's a way to explore your movies. Mix tags like “De Niro + Pacino” or “like Alien, from 2010 on”, pin what you love to Home, and pick up right where you left off.
And many
more.
These are the latest four. The rest is client work, and that stays in-house.
Tell me about yoursHow I work
Hi, I'm Rubén. I solve problems.
And once I catch one, I don't let go.
- 01
I get obsessed.
I see something broken and I can't unsee it.
- 02
I go deep.
To fix a legal AI, I spent months learning everything I could about Spanish law and the Spanish legal system.
- 03
I test everything.
I measure, I break it, I start over. With my TV, I ended up rebuilding the whole system.
- 04
Skin in the game.
If we have to go to war, I go first. And I don't stop until we've solved it.
What I fix
Before: Companies drowning in their own growth. Now: Growing without drowning. I run the tech.
Before: Three different answers to the same document. Now: One, and it's the right one.
Before: Several companies, each running its data its own way. Now: One standard for data and operations.
About
I studied economics. That's why I look at the incentives first and the code second.
I dig into my client's trade until I speak their language. I test what they tell me, and I ask who wins if everything stays as it is.
I'm not the builder who just shows off code: AI writes the code, I build. Nor the consultant who opines from a PowerPoint and never touches a thing.
| Now | Lumyna. I run the tech. |
|---|---|
| Before | A legaltech, a venture builder and a few startups of my own. None of mine worked out. |
| Studied | Economics and Business at the University of Zaragoza. Then three master's degrees: Business Intelligence and Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Strategy and Complex Problem Solving. |
| Based in | Zaragoza, Spain. Jaca is my second city. |
| Off the clock | In the mountains, whenever I can. |
| Coffee | Specialty, and obsessively so. I weigh, grind and time every cup. If you offer me a bad one, I'll smile anyway. |
| At home | Laura and two cats. The three of them run the place; I just pay the mortgage. |
